One of the hardiest garlic, it is easy to grow in most climates with some indication of disease tolerance and is a go-to for many first time growers. Easy to peel, Music Garlic will keep until early spring if stored properly. Named after Canadian grower Al Music, who reputedly brought this variety from Italy in 1980. Harvest fall planted garlic the following season, late spring or early summer, about 240 days from planting. Harvest spring planted garlic the same season, about 90 days from planting. Averages 4- 6 cloves per bulb. Hardneck variety.
